About Me
Hello and welcome to my very own corner of cyberspace, thewrongtree.com. It used to be a waiting room for random ideas rattling round my head. But since the good people at Pegasus picked up my first full-length novel, Obsession, it’s evolved into a launch platform for that book, and my next one, Voyeur.
I'll now move onto the boring stuff: I'm currently a thirty-two-year single parent (who sometimes feeling sixty-two, other times eleven), currently residing in the Home Counties, or simply suburbia as I call it. I run my own business which is kind of dull, so nowadays I try to pass myself off as a writer. I was educated in practically all areas of the media, only to leave and have pretty much nothing to do with it (unless posting on Internet message boards counts?).
And what do I do, besides writing? Well, I have many interests, all of which have taken a back seat since my daughter, Lara, came screaming into my life just over four years ago. So, right now, my days revolve around making funny voices for her fat giraffe, Calvin, and reading Mr Men books at bedtime.
Apart from the writing and parenting, I can also be found helping out my pub quiz team in the movies round, watching yet more films, mooching through Facebook, tinkering with my fantasy league football team online and generally trying to work off some guilt at the gym.
You can also catch up with me on Facebook.
Or listen to me jabber on a bit on Twitter.
