Yes, yet another science-fiction piece, but this one's about time travel.  I must confess to be quite fascinated with the subject and am skilled in both Terminator and Back to the Future theories (it's just a shame knowing the entire script to the Butterfly Effect doesn't get you a job).

Consequence is about a pair of friends who return to their home town after a vaguely annoying weekend mini-break, to find they've stepped back into a new timeline - one where things haven't gone so well.

The world has been taken over by some pretty nasty creatures and humanity is on the brink of toppling (just another day then).  They have to find out what went wrong, locate allies who have been shunted into alternate timelines and repair the mess.
