Have just finished a first draft of Twisted Innocence – a tale loosely fashioned from my childhood.  If it was a Hollywood film there would be that line at the beginning saying something like “the following is based on true events.” 

I don’t know if his one will ever see the light of day, and by that I mean publisher’s desk, as it’s kind of personal, but I thought I’d write it anyway.  Plus it may be a bit controversial as it contains plenty of scenes of an adult nature, which might not go down too well when all the main protagonists are technically minors.  Names and places have been changed to lessen the embarrassment to various people I once knew.

It went on a little longer than I thought it might – currently weighing in at twenty-six chapters comprising of three hundred and eighty pages.  I think that’s one serious editing sessions I’m going to have to do on my next rewrite.
