Dead Loss
Thursday 24th April 2008

A zombieAnyone who knows me and my DVD collection may well have noticed the odd zombie film among my collection.  I always said I'd write a zombie flick (or rather book).  Dead Loss is kind of tongue in cheek and panders to my love of the genre, and Belgium for reasons I won't go into.

Now all I have to do is wait for people to stop comparing it to Shaun of the Dead and I might get it published (for the record, I wrote it before Simon Pegg - grr!)

The year 2018 marked two monumental events for Adam White.  First of all he got engaged to his long-term girlfriend, Steffi, and secondly he nearly got eaten by an undead army during a sightseeing trip to Belgium.

During their three-day minibreak, they quickly found that the only thing harder than staying alive was trying to set Steffi’s overweight friend Leyla up with Adam’s slightly stoned best mate, Lennon.  Unfortunately, Leyla takes a shine to the local police chief, who is hell bent on training the dead soldiers to recreate famous World War 1 battles while Lennon is too busy trying to apply horror movie logic to their predicament.

When there’s no more room in Belgium, the dead will walk the earth.
